Drugs, Jail, and Sports
In today’s professional sports, athletes are setting bad examples for today’s youth. Some of the biggest Major Baseball Players, such as Barry Bonds and Rogers Clemens, Hall of Fame status are being questioned be because of steroids. Some NFL players, such as Sean Taylor, and Darrent Williams getting killed, and while others NFL players, like Michael Vick and Chris Henry, are being incarnated, for petty crimes. Well I think that the whole debate with the steroids in major league baseball is some bull. I mean everytime somebody comes along who can hit a baseball out of the park people automatically assume that their on steroids… perfect example is Barry Bonds the man has been hitting home runs for years and then now when he has had one of his best seasons, people want to say he’s using steriods. Come on now….. why cant he just be good at hitting baseballs?
As for the debate with Michael Vick I believe he does deserve to go to jail for what he did. That right there is a bad example for our youth….

i kinda agree with what you are saying…but at the same time i think that the parents of these children need to set their own examples…because there is always gonna be a bad influence out in the world..nobody is perfect…now lets think about that…

I think that the steroid thing is stupid, because steroids shouldn’t be a big factor in baseball because the players should be able to take anything that they want if they want a better performance.

People in baseball should be kicked out for taking steroids

I dont agree with you trojan40, the reason being is because why shoould you have to use a drug to make you better or stronger at the sport your playing, why cant you just work hard enough to get better then what you are…..

Not really because the kids should know right from wrong and if they don’t then its the parents fault those athletes don’t even know those kids

i think that all the professional athletes that use steroids should not be allowed to play professional any more.

I think you’re right it is sad that these professional athletes are setting these examples; because now you see alot of teens out here doing the same thing
